Rights Respecting Schools
Children's Rights
Children and young people have 42 rights under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC)

In Pengelli we display a 'right of the month' and use this to promote discussions, lessons and assemblies.

Our Rights Respecting School Mascot
Our RRS mascot is Kenny the Rights Respecting Koala and was designed by a pupil in the school. Kenny reminds the children about their rights in UNCRC and about the respectful actions that we must agree to make so that everyone can enjoy their rights.
